For this private residence in Guangzhou, designed to feel like a contemporary European manor, we used lighting techniques to accentuate the voluminous spaces and interior architectural details. Uplighting serves to highlight dramatic archways and verticality. A large-scale luminous volume with extensive backlighting encases an awe-inspiring library space. The planning of lighting in various spaces - whether it is a private movie lounge, or a spa pool - is mannered and discreet, in order to achieve sophisticated and tranquil spaces.
